About Us
We are the family, guardians, relatives, and friends of the developmentally disabled
Founded in 1976 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization by parents and guardians of individuals with developmental disabilities. Meadow Association's purpose is to help maintain and improve the quality of life of individuals with disabilities, especially those who reside at Meadows: an Intermediate Care Residential Home for intellectually disabled adults located in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Through donations, fundraising, and membership fees, Meadows Association has provided for all residents including those who are wards of the state, such items as: bed comforters, annual birthday and holiday gifts, thermal thermometer, Apple Computer, ADA approved picnic benches, and numerous health related items and services.
Meadows Association advocates for better understanding of individuals with disabilities as productive members of their communities
